ZTE AXON MAX with fingerprint sensor & 4140mAh Battery Launched

Chinese multinational company, ZTE, which is the world’s fourth-largest handset manufacturer has launched its latest smartphone- the AXON MAX in the Axon series in China. The smartphone is priced at CNY 2,799 or approximately Rs. 28,600 via an e-commerce website. The handset is available in Gold colour and its body is made from Boeing 787 aircraft-grade aluminum-titanium alloy.   

The ZTE AXON MAX comes with a fingerprint sensor on the back and sports a 6-inch 1080p AMOLED display with 2.5D curved glass. The smartphone runs on MiFavor 3.5 UI based on Android5.1 Lollipop OS and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor along with Adreno 405 and 3 GB of RAM. At the same time, the device houses 32 GB of inbuilt storage that can further be expanded up to 128 GB via a microSD card.

On the camera front, the smartphone packs a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) and an f/1.9 aperture. Besides, it flaunts a 13-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.2 aperture.

From the connectivity point of view, the dual-SIM based ZTE AXON MAX supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, USB Type-C and USB OTG. Apart these, the device includes Gyroscope, Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor and Accelerometer.

Moreover, the ZTE AXON MAX is fuelled by a large 4140mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0 tech, that can charge the smartphone from 0 to 60%  in just 30 minutes. The dimension of the handset is 160 x 80 x 7.5 mm and weighs 188 gram.
