Vodafone 4G services soon as trials have begun

Vodafone has begun the trials of its 4G network services in selected circles.The company’s is expected to roll out its fourth generation (4G) services in select towns by the end of this year.The company iwill start the 4G services in – Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Karnataka and Kerala.The 4G wars is expected to begin by the end of this year when other service providers will jump into the scene.Reliance Jio Infocomm , Idea Cellular will heat up the scene while Airtel is already expanding its 4G coverage in India.

According to Vodafone ,its 24.1 million 4G customers across 18 markets and 4G accounts for 35 percent of data traffic in European markets. “Our emerging markets have maintained their strong momentum and more of our European businesses are returning to growth, as customer demand for 4G and data takes off,” Vittorio Colao, group chief executive said.
