Videocon launches its first 4G phone ‘Z55 Krypton’ with rear scratch-proof glass

Videocon has launched its first 4G smartphone called Z55 Krypton that comes with scratch-resistant back panel. The smartphone is priced at Rs 7,999. The handset is available in Black and gold and White and silver colours. 

The dual-SIM based smartphone features a 5-inch HD IPS display screen, which is protected by Dragontrail X anti-scratch glass. On the software front, the Videocon Z55 Krypton runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Mediatek MT6735 chipset coupled with 1GB of RAM. In addition, it also packs 8 GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card.

On the camera front, the Videocon Z55 Krypton houses a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash along with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for taking selfie.

In terms of connectivity, the device offers 4G LTE, FM radio, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE and GPS/ A-GPS. On the plus side, the Videocon Z55 Krypton comes preloaded with apps such as Skype, V-Secure and so on. Moreover, the device is fuelled by a 2,200mAh battery.
