The Chinese smart phone brand UMI has launched- the UMI Fair smart phone at the price of $99 or approximately RS 6,543. The smart phone will be available through various retailers. The smart phone packs a stainless steel inner frame that makes it sturdy.
The most attractive feature of the UMI Fair is its fingerprint sensor that includes self-learning algorithms, which can store up to 5 fingerprints and would unlock the phone in just 0.32 seconds with over 99% accuracy.
The smart phone comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The dual-SIM enabled smart phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and is powered by a 64-bit 1.0GHz quad-core MediaTek processor along with 1GB of RAM and Mali-T720 GPU clocked at 450MHz. In addition, it has 8GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 64GB with the help of a microSD card.
On the photography front, the device comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with several features like Sony IMX164 sensor, dual-tone LED flash, blue glass filter, and f/2.2 aperture. It has also a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. In terms of connectivity, the smart phone offers Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS with EPO, Micro-USB, FM Radio and Bluetooth v4.0 options. The smart phone is backed by a 2000mAh battery.
Moreover, net weight of the UMI Fair is 120 grams and it measures 43.5 x 72 x 8.4 mm. It will be available in Black and White colors.
