Swipe launches Elite smart phone with 2GB RAM


A new smart phone Elite has been launched by domestic smart phone maker Swipe Technologies. The smartphone will be available exclusively on online retailer Flipkart at the cost of Rs 5,999 starting from August 19, 2015.

The dual-SIM smart phone features a 5-inch HD display along with 2.5D curved glass. The device uses a 1.2 GHz MediaTek quad-core processor and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with company’s own customized operating system known as Freedom OS on top. In addition, the handset comes with 16 GB of built-in space which can be extended up to 32 GB via a microSD card.

On the camera front, the device sports an 8-MP front facing camera and a 13- MP auto focus rear camera with LED flash. According to the company, the handset is powered by a 2500mAh battery with super charge technology for quicker charging. The connectivity options of the smartphone support Wi-Fi, 2G, Bluetooth 4.0, 3G, and GPS. Moreover, the device has a dimension of 142×70.8×8.05 MM and weighs only 131.3 grams.
