Samsung launches Tizen-based smartphone ‘Z3’ at RS 8,490

The South Korean electronics giant Samsung has launched the Z3 smartphone in India for Rs.8,490. It is exclusively available with e-commerce website Snapdeal in gold, black and silver colour variants. Besides, the smartphone is also available in leading retail stores.

The Z3 is a Tizen-based smartphone. Here it is worth-mentioning that Tizen is Samsung’s homegrown operating system which is designed with similar features as Android. It targets a very wide range of devices including smartphones, tablets, smart TVs, PCs, smart cameras, smart watches, printers and smart home appliances.

The Z3 comes with a sleek and slim ultra modern design and dazzling metal finish. The smartphone features a bright 5-inch HD AMOLED display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor along with an intelligent UI. Additionally, the device has 1GB of RAM together with 8 GB of in-built storage which can be further expanded up to 128 GB.

On the camera front, the Z3 flaunts an 8 megapixel Bright Lens F2.2 rear camera along with a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for advanced selfie capabilities.
