The South Korean smart phone maker Samsung has launched its latest phablet- the Galaxy Note5 in the Note series in the country. The phablet is priced at RS 53,900 for the 32GB model while the 64GB model is priced at RS 59,900. The phablet will be available in Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum and Silver Titanium colours and will be available from September 20.
The prime feature of Galaxy Note5 is its 5.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED display screen which supports Samsung’s proprietary S Pen stylus. The phablet is backed by company’s 64-bit Exynos octa-core processor coupled with 4GB RAM. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS. In terms of storage the phablet comes with 32GB and 64GB variants nevertheless, here it is worth-mentioning that it does not support microSD cards.
On the camera front, the device sports a 16MP rear camera with Optical Image Stabilisation and a 5MP front-facing camera. In addition, the camera app of the phablet can easily be opened with a double press on the home button which also bears the fingerprint sensor. As far as connectivity is concerned, the device offers Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, dual-band, Bluetooth 4.2, microUSB 2.0, NFC, GPS/GLONASS. Moreover, the Galaxy Note5 is powered by a non-removable Li-Po 3,000mAh battery which supports fast-charging on wireless and/or wired chargers. It has a dimensions of 153.2×76.1×7.6mm and a weighs 171 grams.
