Samsung launches Galaxy J2 smart phone

Samsung has launched its latest budget 4G-enabled smart phone- Galaxy J2 in India. The Galaxy J2 will be available for purchase from September 21, with a price tag of RS. 8,490. The prime feature of the device is, it comes with a new Ultra Data Saving mode, which is powered by Opera Max that allows users to enable and block apps from using mobile data.

The dual-SIM handset features a metallic finish on the sides and has 4.5-inch TFT display. The Samsung Galaxy J2 is backed by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor along with 1GB of RAM and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. In addition, it has 8GB of in-built storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB with the help of a microSD card.

On the camera front, the device sports a 5-MP rear facing auto focus camera with LED flash and a 2-MP front-facing camera. while in terms of connectivity, the handset supports Bluetooth 4.1, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, micro USB, GPS, 3.5mm Audio Jack and FM Radio.  

Moreover, the Galaxy J2 is powered by a 2000mAh battery. The smart phone will be available in White, Black, and Gold colours.
