The South Korean smart phone giant Samsung has launched a new smart phone- the Galaxy Core Prime VE. The smart phone is listed on the Samsung’s retail website with a price tag of Rs 8,600.
The dual-SIM enabled Galaxy Core Prime VE has a 4.5-inch WVGA PLS TFT display and backed by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor along with 1GB of RAM. In addition, it has 8GB of in-built storage which can support microSD cards of up to 128GB. The device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system with Samsung’s Touch Wiz interface.
On the camera front, the smart phone has a 5-MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2-MP front camera. While, its connectivity options offer 3G, Wi Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi Hotspot and GPS. Moreover, the device is powered by a 2000 mAh Li-Ion battery with Ultra Power Saving Mode. According to the company, Ultra Power Saving Mode offers up to 1.2 days of stand-by time with just 10 percent battery.
The dimensions of the device are 130.8×67.9×8.8mm and will be available in silver, white and grey colors.
