Samsung Electronics is much upset because of its falling sale. Even its highly-awaited smart phone Galaxy S6 failed to reverse its declining fortune. Samsung’s overall earnings drop during the April-June quarter was 8 percent, but it reported a tremendous decline of 38 percent.
In fact, the highest selling growth of Samsung in the smart phone industry came to a sudden stop in the year of 2013 since bigger iPhone models attracted buyers from Samsung. As a matter of fact, Samsung had much hope on the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge phones, when they were introduced in April. However the Galaxy S6 could not be as popular as it was expected.
Now, in order to combat the expected sales drop, the company is planning to cut the price of its Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge handsets. Moreover, Samsung is also planning to introduce new premium smart phones. And at the same time the company may introduce a new Galaxy Note and a larger S6 Edge in the second half of 2015.
