Panasonic has released its ultra-compact, tough, lightweight and waterproof wearable camera called the HX-A1 in India at the price of Rs 19,900. The approx. weight of the camera is just 45 grams.
The main highlight of the Panasonic HX-A1 is its 0 Lux Night Mode, which allows the users to record in pitch darkness, however, here, it is worth-mentioning that to record video with 0 Lux Night Mode, a Glass Cover(bundled accessory), Twin Mount(VW-TMA1, separately sold) and IR light(commercially available) are required.
Now that, the Panasonic HX-A1 is an action camera hence, needless to say it is freezeproof to minus 10-degree Celsius and dustproof also. In addition, it is equipped with a 1/3-inch effective 2.87-megapixel MOS sensor that is paired with a 2.6-mm F2.8 lens to give a view of around 19-mm equivalent.
In terms of connectivity, the Panasonic HX-A1 includes USB 2.0 and microUSB Type B. Whereas, its Built-in Wi-Fi is perfect for Remote Control and Instant Sharing. The Panasonic HX-A1 can be mounted to a multi mount onto goggles, helmets, shoulder bags or tripods using a Tripod Mount.
