The Chinese electronics manufacturer OPPO has launched its latest 4G-enabled smartphone the Neo 7 in India. The smartphone is priced at Rs 9,990 and will be available for purchase across the country from next week. The OPPO Neo 7 comes with a micro-arc frame and premium mirror-like finish.
The smartphone features a 5-inch IPS qHD display and supports multi-touch. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with the company’s custom ColorOS 2.1 skin on top and is powered by a 1.2GHz Quad Core 64-Bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 Processor along with Adreno 306 GPU. At the same time, the device has 1GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage space which is further expandable up to 128 GB via MicroSD Card. Nevertheless, here it is worth-mentioning that the memory expansion for 3G version is up to 32 GB only.
On the plus side, the OPPO Neo 7 is configured with two SIM card slots and both slots support 4G networks with top speeds of up to 150 Mbps. Additionally, it offers Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro USB, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.0, GPS, IR remote, 3.5mm Audio Jack and so on. Apart from this, it has Light Sensor, Distance Sensor, G-Sensor and E-Compass.
On the camera front, the device sports an 8-MP rear camera with LED flash and an UltraHD feature to bump up the resolution of photos to 24MP. While, its 5-MP front camera comes with higher light-sensitivity and frame rate which effectively reduces noise to take clear pictures and videos.
The smartphone is backed by a 2420 mAh Li-Po non removable battery and its dimension is 142.7 x 71.7 x 7.55 mm and weighs just 141g. The handset is available in Black and White colours.
