Obi Worldphone has launched its flagship smartphone in India called Obi Worldphone SF1. The smartphone will be available for consumers from 7th December, 2015 exclusively on recently launched e-commerce venture of NDTV, Gadget 360. Registration for the first sale of the smartphone is going on. The Obi Worldphone SF1 comes with a starting price of Rs. 11,999 for the 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal storage variant, whereas for the 3 GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage variant, it has been priced at Rs. 13,999. Both the variant will support a microSD card of up to 64 GB.
The smartphone features a 5-inch Full HD JDI In-Cell IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The device runs on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop skinned with the company’s Lifespeed UI and is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 MSM8939 processor. Apart this, it has Adreno 405 GPU for graphics. It is also equipped with Dolby Audio support and microphones for noise cancelation.
On the camera front, the device sports a 13-MP rear camera with Sony Exmor IMX214 sensor, AF and f/2.0 Aperture. Besides, it also has a 5-MP front camera for taking selfies. Both the cameras are supported with LED Flash. In terms of connectivity, the dual-SIM based Obi Worldphone SF1 offers 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3G and Bluetooth. Moreover, the smartphone is fuelled by a 3000mAh Li-Po battery that supports Quick Charge 1.0 standard of Qualcomm. The handset measures 146 x 74 x 8 mm and weighs just 147 gram.
