Motorola Moto G Turbo Edition smartphone with ‘TurboPower’ launches in India

Motorola has recently launched the Moto G Turbo Edition smartphone in India. In point of fact, this is an updated version of the existing Moto G (3rd generation). The Moto G Turbo Edition was launched in Mexico last month. Now, with a price tag of Rs.14,499, India is the second country where it is available to buy. The handset is available on Flipkart.

One of the main features of the smartphone is its TurboPower by which users can get 6 hours of battery life in just 15 minutes of charging. On the plus side, it is waterproof and dust-proof.

The Moto G Turbo Edition sports a 5-inch display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS and is powered by a Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor aided by 2 GB of RAM. In addition, it has 16 GB of internal storage, which can further be expanded up to 32 GB with the help of a microSD card.

On the camera front, the device houses a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED CCT flash along with a 5-megapixel selfie camera. In terms of connectivity, the dual-SIM based Moto G Turbo Edition includes 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, FM, 3G and GPS. It is fuelled by a 2,470mAh battery.
