Lenovo-owned Motorola has launched its highly awaited Moto 360 (second-generation) smartwatch in India. The new smartwatch comes in five variants in India and will be available exclusively on Flipkart and Myntra.
There are two models, introduced by the company: The men’s 46mm version comes with a 1.56-inch screen with a 360 x 330 pixel resolution and is available in cognac, black metal and black leather. Whereas, the women’s 42mm version has a 1.37-inch screen with a 360 x 325 pixel resolution and is available in natural metal and a distinctive rose gold with blush leather. The display comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The Moto 360 (second-generation) smartwatch is powered by Android Wear Operating System and at the same time, it has a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, coupled with 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage. The smartwatch responds user’s voice and also tracks health and fitness.
In terms of battery size, both models differ, because the 42mm model has a 300mAh battery, while the 46mm model comes with a 400mAh battery. On the connectivity front, the smartwatch offers Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g. Besides, it includes accelerometer, vibration or haptics engine, ambient light sensor and gyroscope and does support wireless charging.
