The software giant Microsoft is going to launch its Surface Pro 4 tablet on January 7 in India. In point of fact, it has already been announced by Satya Nadela, CEO of the company during his trip to India earlier this year that the Surface Pro 4 tablet will be launched in the first week of January.
For the launch event, Microsoft has sent out media invites. The launch event will be held in New Delhi.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 features a 12.3-inch PixelTouch display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection and runs on Windows 10 Pro OS.
The device comes with a new stylus called the Surface Pen. It has also an eraser. The new Surface Pen which has Cortana integration, can detect 1,024 points of pressure.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is powered by Intel’s 6-generation Core processors and users can select the processor from Core M3 to Core i5 and Core i7. These configurations are paired with Intel HD Graphics 515, Intel HD Graphics 520 or Intel Iris Graphics respectively.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is aided by 4 GB to 16 GB of RAM and in-bulit storage option from 128 GB to 1 TB.
In terms of connectivity, the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 comes with a fingerprint scanner, a 3.5-mm headset jack, a microSD card reader, a full-size USB 3.0 port, an Ethernet port and a Mini DisplayPort.
Furthermore, the device houses an 8-megapixel rear camera along with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. On the battery front, the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 provides up to 9 hours of battery life on full charge.
