Technology giant Microsoft has launched its first ever laptop- the new Microsoft Surface Book. The tablet comes with a starting price tag of $1,499 or roughly Rs. 97,400.
The Surface Book sports a 13.5-inch display that can be disconnected from the base to allow the laptop to morph into a tablet. On the plus side, it can be used like a clipboard for sketching with the dedicated Surface Pen stylus.
The high-performance laptop runs on the latest Windows 10 and is powered by the latest Intel Core i5 and i7 processors, from the Skylake family. In addition, it has an Nvidia GeForce GPU with GDDR5 memory which is located in the base. It has also 16 GB of RAM together with two full-size USB ports to assist in file transfer.
Moreover, the Surface Book also includes an attractive feature, that is its dual-cameras; an 8-megapixel rear camera as well as a 5-megapixel front camera, which is usually not associate with laptops. The laptop is backed by up to 12 hours of battery life.
