Micromax YU launches 4G-enabled smart phone Yunique

Sub-brand of Micromax, YU, has launched a new 4G-enabled smart phone Yunique. The budget smart phone is priced at RS 4,999 and will be exclusively available on Snapdeal via flash sale starting September 15. Currently Registrations for the smart phone is going on.

The Yu Yunique features a 4.7-inch HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device is powered by a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor coupled with 1GB LPDDR3 RAM and Adreno 306. Further it has 8GB internal space which is expandable up to 32GB with the help of a microSD card.

The dual-SIM enabled smart phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. On the camera front, the device sports an 8MP autofocus camera which records high quality videos at 1080p full HD with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera with an 83-degree wide angle lens. 

In terms of connectivity, the Yu Yunique includes Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi hotspot, GPS, A-GPS, FM radio and Micro-USB v2.0. In addition, the handset is backed by a non-removable 2000mAh Li-Po battery, which delivers 7 hours of talk-time and 271 hours of stand-by time.
