Domestic mobile manufacturer Micromax Informatics Ltd has launched a new smart phone- Micromax Canvas Spark 2 in the canvas series in the country. This smart phone is being promoted as “India ka 3G phone” by the company. The handset is priced at a very economical tag of Rs. 3,999 and will be available via flash sales exclusively on Snapdeal. Registration for the flash sale will start from September 23.
The Micromax Canvas Spark 2 flaunts a 5-inch FWVGA IPS display and is backed by 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 4GB of in-built memory, which is further expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card. On the camera front, the device sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front facing selfie camera.
While, on the connectivity front, this dual-SIM enabled smart phone supports 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB, and GPS. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with Micromax custom skin atop and pre-loaded with apps such as Scandid, Kindle, Hotstar, Clean Master, Swiftkey and Snapdeal. Moreover, the device is powered by a 1,800mAh battery which the company claims to offer up to 324 hours of backup on stand-by mode.
