The Indian phone maker Micromax has launched a new tablet- the Canvas Tab P680. The tablet is priced at RS. 9,499 and will be available at all leading retail outlets as well as online retailers starting from 22 August.
The Canvas Tab P680 comes with an 8-inch WXGA IPS display with slim design. This is, in fact, the first tablet from Micromax which will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. One of the chief features of the tablet is its voice calling capabilities with 3G connectivity via dual- SIM card slots. It has 1.3GHz quad-core processor along with 1GB of RAM. The device has also 16GB of internal space that can be extended up to 32GB via a microSD card slot. In addition, the built-in dual box speakers of the device give clear and loud audio output.
On the camera front, it sports a 2-megapixel front camera and 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash. At the same time, its connectivity option supports Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and USB OTG. Moreover, the tablet is powered by a 4000mAh marathon battery and available in black and metallic copper color.
