Meizu , the Chinese handset manufacturer, has launched its budget 4G smartphone- m2 in India. The smartphone is available with a price tag of Rs. 6,999 on Snapdeal. The handset is available in White, Blue, Grey and Pink colours.
The device comes with a polycarbonate unibody design and sports a 5-inch HD display covered by AGC Dragontrail protective glass. The Meizu m2 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with the company’s proprietary Flyme UI 4.5. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek MT6735 SoC with a 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz along with Mali T720 GPU and aided by 2 GB of LPDDR3 RAM.
Additionally, it has 16 GB of eMMC memory which can be expanded up to 144 GB with the help of a microSD card slot. The camera section of the device houses a 13-megapixel rear camera with a f/2.2 aperture and LED flash, as well as a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and FotoNation 2.0 smart selfie enhancement.
On the connectivity front, the dual SIM based Meizu m2 includes 3G, GPS, A-GPS, Micro-USB, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0. It is backed by a 2500mAh non removable battery. The handset measures 140.10 x 68.90 x 8.70 and weighs 131.00 grams.
