Mumbai Based Tablet pc manufacturer DOMO Gadgets has launched its student targeted low price 7 inch tablet (800 x 480 Pixels resolution) DOMO Slate X14.Indian tablet vendors are trying to pump sales by keeping the price of their tablet low to face high competition market segment.This tablet is an Android Jelly Bean 4.2 version device.It runs on 1 GHz Cortex A8 processor coupled by Powerful Graphics Processor – Mali 400.This kind of processor is widely used in low end tablets. It a single core tablet and can attain a frequency from 600 MHz to 1 GHz+ .The new budget tablet has a weight of 305 grams , comes with 512 MB DDR III RAM and 4 GB of memory which you can extend externally upto 32GB.Domo X14 sports a 2 mp primary camera and 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video calling and other needs.
There is no inbuilt SIM card support but 3G network can be connected with the help of external USB dongle.The other connectivity options include Wi-Fi and Micro-USB.There is support for a 3.5-mm stereo headphone jack , GPS and Google Maps.It uses 3000 mAh battery is enough to survive 4-5 hours.The tab provides longer battery life by automatically switching on and off the GPU.
