LG has launched its first metal-clad smartphone- LG Class. The smart phone has been launched only in Korea with a price tag of KRW 399,300, which amounts to approximately $338 or €301 or RS 22,000 at the current exchange rates. However, there is no word on its availability in other countries.
This mid range smart phone features a 5-inch HD IPS touchscreen with 2.5D curved glass and powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 410 chipset, boasting a 1.2 GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU along with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal space which is further expandable up to 2TB via a microSD card.
The device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and supports 4G LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, micro USB and GPS connectivity options. On the camera front, the smart phone sports a 13-MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8-MP selfie camera with Gesture Interval Shot feature. In addition, the LG Class is backed by a non-removable 2,050 mAh battery. Its dimensions are 142 x 71.8 x 7.4 mm, and it weighs 147g. The smart phone will be available in gold, silver, and black colours.
