Lava launches Iris Atom 2X with 4.5-inch display, Android 5.1 & 1GB RAM

Indian smartphone manufacture Lava has recently launched its latest budget smartphone- the Iris Atom 2X in the Iris Atom series. The smartphone is priced at Rs 4,499. Currently, the Iris Atom 2X is available for purchase via e-commerce websites and offline retailers across the nation.  

The dual-SIM enabled Lava Iris Atom 2X comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA screen. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor aided by 1GB of RAM. In addition, the smartphone bears 8 GB of built-in storage that is further expandable up to 32GB with the help of microSD card.

The camera section of the device comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash along with a VGA front-facing camera. While, in terms of connectivity, the Lava Iris Atom 2X features 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB 2.0, GPS/ A-GPS and a 3.5 mm audio jack. Besides, the device also includes an accelerometer, ambient light sensor and proximity sensor.

The Lava Iris Atom 2X is backed up by a 2,000mAh battery and is available in White and Black colour variants. Moreover, the dimension of the handset is 134 x 66 x 9.15 mm and weighs 132 grams.
