Intex launches budget smartphone Aqua Air below RS 5000 range

Indian handset maker Intex has launched a new smartphone – the Aqua Air. The smartphone comes with a price tag of Rs 4,690. The handset is available in four colours- grey, white, black and champagne.

The Intex Aqua Air comes with a 5-inch FWVGA display that makes gaming and video watching experience unmatchable. The dual-SIM based smartphone runs on Android Kitkat 4.4 operating system and is powered by 1.2 GHz dual-core MTK 6572W processor. Besides, it has 8 GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expanded up to 32 GB with the help of a microSD card.

On the camera front, the device sports a 2-MP rear Camera and 0.3-MP VGA front Camera. While, in terms of connectivity, the Intex Aqua Air includes Bluetooth v4.0, 3G, Micro-USB 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, hotspot, GPS/ A-GPS and GPRS/ EDGE. Additionally, it has accelerometer, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor.

Moreover, the device is fuelled by a 2300mAh non removable battery. The dimension of the Intex Aqua Air is 145.5×72.8×10 mm and weighs 151 grams.
