InFocus launches M812 Smartphone with Snapdragon 801CPU

The US-based technology company InFocus has launched its new flagship smart phone M812 in India. This mid-range smart phone is priced at RS 19,999 and will be available exclusively on Snapdeal. Registration for the handset starts from 23 September 2015 while the sale starts from 1 October, 2015.

The InFocus M812 sports a 5.5-inch full HD IPS display with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The smart phone is powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHz along with 3GB of RAM. It has also 16GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card. 

The smart phone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with InFocus own InLife UI 2.0 and features an anodized aluminum unibody design. On the camera front, the device has a 13-MP rear camera with a dual tone flash and an 8-MP front camera for selfies and video conferencing.

In terms of connectivity, the InFocus M812 supports 3G, 4G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB 2.0, GPS, A-GPS and GLONASS. In addition, the smart phone is backed by a 2,900 mAh battery which is non-removable.
