Huawei launches Enjoy 5 with 5-inch HD display, 4G LTE & 4000mAh battery

Chinese handset manufacturer Huawei has expanded its Enjoy series of smartphones with launch of Enjoy 5. The smartphone is priced at CNY 999 or approximately Rs. 10,250. It is also available on China Telecom carrier bundle at CNY 899 or approximately Rs. 9,000. Currently it is available in China however, its global version may be launched with a different name- mostlikely the Honor Play 5X. Nevertheless, the company has not disclosed any details yet.      

The all-new Enjoy 5 comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Huawei’s Emotion UI 3.1 on top. Under the hood, the Enjoy 5 is backed by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6735) processor together with Mali T720 GPU. At the same time, it has 2 GB of RAM along with 16 GB of in-built space which is expandable up to 128 GB with the help of microSD.

In terms of connectivity, the dual-SIM based device offers 4G LTE, GPS, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, USB OTG and so on. On the camera front, the smartphone sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Moreover, it is backed by a large 4000mAh battery which  delivers up to 20 hours of talk-time and up to 24 days of stand-by time, as the company claims.

The handset measures Dimensions of 143.1 x 71.8 x 9.7mm and weighs just 160g. It comes in Grey, Gold and White colours.
