Huawei Honor Z1 Band fitness tracker now Goes on Sale in India at RS 5,499

Huawei’s sub-brand, Honor has launched its first fitness tracker- the Honor Band Z1 in India. The new fitness tracker is priced at Rs 5,499 and is now available exclusively on Flipkart. The Honor Band Z1 comes in two sizes, 244.4x38x9.5 mm and 229.4x38x9.5 mm and in two colour variants – a cool cream strap with a silver Band and a black strap with a gunmetal black band.    

The wearable comes with a polished metallic finish and sports a 1.06-inch OLED circular touchscreen display. It is powered by a Cortex M4 STM32F411 chipset along with 128 KB RAM. Additionally, it has 512 KB of internal storage. Apart this, the wearable is also compatible with iPhones running on iOS 7.0 and smartphones running on Android 4.4.4.

The Honor Band Z1 comes with a rugged water-proof and dust-proof design. The device has an in-built pedometer that delivers information on user’s fitness activities,  sleep schedule and calories burnt. However, for this, users need to download the MyFitnessPal app. The device has a Bluetooth connectivity option that has a range of 10 metres. Moreover, the wearable is fuelled by a 70mAh battery, which delivers up to 4 days of working time and up to 14 days of standby time.
