According to the reports, Google is going to facilitate payment in the system with digital wallet like Paytm and MobiKwik along with the UPI. Google is now going to launch its payment service in India.

According to the reports, Google will launch the digital payment service named ‘Tez’ on 18th of this month, which will be based on the Unified Payments Interface (UPI). The UPI was launched by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI). This is a mobile app by which digital payments can be done quickly. Its biggest feature is that customers can connect their all bank accounts through a single bank’s UPI app.

However, according to the news agency ANI, Google has not yet made any official statement about this, but the news is that the company is going to launch a new ‘Product’ in India on September 18 for which the media has been invited.

This news has been revealed by The Ken, a technology – related website. Here, some government sources have said that the functionality of ‘Tez’ will be almost the same as ‘Google Wallet’ and ‘Android Pay Service’. These two services connected with Google Digital Payment operate in the US, which are considered as the most popular payment systems in the country.

The Ken has also claimed that Google has already made an agreement with a major private bank for its new payment system. It is also being said that Google is also going to facilitate payment in the system along with the wallet like Paytm and MobiKwik.

In addition to Google, Facebook – owned social messaging app WhatsApp is also going to launch a UPI – based payment system soon. According to the reports, after receiving the approval of the digital payment service from the Government of India, WhatsApp officials are talking about partnership with many banks.
