ASUS launches ‘Zenfone Zoom’ smartphone with 4GB RAM & 13MP Optical Zoom Camera

ASUS, the Taiwanese electronics and computer hardware company has launched its latest smartphone- the Zenfone Zoom in India. The current market price of the Asus ZenFone Zoom is Rs. 37,999. The handset comes in Meteorite black and Glacier white colour options.  

The main highlight of the ASUS Zenfone Zoom is its 13-MP rear camera with real tone flash, laser autofocus and 3X optical zoom. At the same time, this remarkable camera supports high end presets such as panorama, HDR, OIS and full HD videos at 30fps frame rate. Besides, the smartphone also sports a 5-MP front facing camera with 88 degrees-wide angle for clicking selfies.

In terms of specifications, the Asus ZenFone Zoom features a 5.5-inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x1080 pixels and a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection on top. The smartphone runs on Android v5.0 Lollipop OS with the Asus ZenUI skin on the top and is powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Intel Atom processor aided by 4 GB LPDDR3 RAM. In addition, the device packs 128 GB of internal storage that can further be expanded via a microSD card.

On the connectivity front, the Asus ZenFone Zoom offers 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with AGPS, NFC and so on. Apart these, the device includes Accelerometer, Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.

Moreover, the Dual Sim based smartphone is backed by a 3000mAh Li-polymer non removable battery with Asus BoostMaster Fast charging technology. The dimension of the handset is 158.9×78.84×11.95 mm and weighs 185 gram.
