Asus launches Zenfone GO

Taiwanese company Asus has launched its budget smart phone Zenfone Go in India. The smart phone is priced at RS 8,000 and will be available on Flipkart, Asus’ own stores and leading retail outlets.

The device flaunts a 5-inch screen with an HD LCD display. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop-based ZenUI  and powered by a quad-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM. It has 8GB of internal memory. In addition, the handset supports microSD cards of up 64GB and comes with 100GB of free Google Drive cloud storage for 2-year.

On the camera front, the device sports an 8-MP rear camera and a 2-MP front facing camera. While, on the connectivity front, it offers Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, GPS/ A-GPS, and Micro-USB. Moreover, the dual-SIM enabled smart phone is backed by a 2070mAh battery and will be available in three colors-Black, White and Red.
