Asus launches new budget quad-core Android Lollipop tablet in India

The Taiwanese multinational computer hardware and electronics maker Asus has launched its refreshed ZenPad C7.0 tablet under ZenPad Series in the country. The tablet is priced at Rs. 7,999 and is now available to buy exclusively on Snapdeal. The device comes in Obsidian Black and Pearl White colour variants.

The Asus ZenPad C7.0 tablet sports a 7-inch IPS WSVGA display with AGC Glass, 10 finger multi-touch support and Anti-fingerprint coating. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system with the ASUS Zen UI.

The main highlight of the Asus ZenPad C7.0 tablet is its 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8382 ARM Cortex-A7 processor, which is equipped with Mali 400 MP2 GPU. At the same time, the tablet is aided by 1GB of RAM, 8 GB of built-in storage and a microSD card which supports up to 64 GB.

Apart these, the company is offering free 5 GB of online storage via Asus Web storage for lifetime with an additional 11GB for the 1st year. Besides, users will also get 100 GB of Google Drive space for 2 years.

On the camera front, the dual-SIM based tablet houses a 5-MP rear camera with auto-focus along with a 0.3-megapixel front camera. In terms of connectivity, the Asus ZenPad C7.0 tablet supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB and Glonass. 

Moreover, the device is fuelled by a 3,450mAh battery which provides up to 8.5 hours of battery life. The dimension of the tablet is 189x108x8.4 mm and weighs 265 grams.
