Google has launched Nexus 5X and 6P smartphones in India. Google Nexus 5X is manufactured by LG. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 31,900 for the 16 GB storage variant and Rs. 35,900 for 32 GB variant. It is exclusively available on online store Amazon.
On the other hand, Google Nexus 6P is manufactured by Huawei. The smartphone has been priced at Rs. 39,999 for the 32 GB storage variant and Rs. 42,999 for the 64 GB variant. The Nexus 6P is exclusively available on Flipkart.
The most attractive feature of both smartphones is, they run on Android Marshmallow 6.0, Google’s latest mobile operating system.
Google Nexus 5X comes with a 5.2-inch full HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 SoC along with 2 GB of RAM. In terms of camera, the handset flaunts a 12.3-MP rear camera with laser-assisted autofocus and a 5-MP front camera. The Nexus 5X is backed by a 2700 mAh battery. The handset is available in black, white and mint green colours.
Whereas, the Nexus 6P features a 5.7-inch QHD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It has a 2 GHz octa-core processor aided by 3 GB of RAM. On the camera front, it sports a 12.3-MP rear camera with 4K and slow-motion (240fps) video recording and an f/2.0 aperture. Additionally, it has also a 8-MP front-facing camera with HDR+ and a f/2.4 aperture.
The smartphone is backed by a 3450mAh battery with Quick Charge support which gives up to 7 hours of charge in just 10 minutes. On the plus side, the Nexus 6P is a first full metal-body phone which has been built out of aluminum. The handset will be available in Graphite and Aluminum colour variants.
