This month , Datawind – the makers of Aakash Tablet released UbiSlate 7Cx which happens to be the cheapest 7-inch tablet with voice calling cellular connectivity at just Rs 3,999.This tablet runs on Andriod Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.4 operating system over the 1 Ghz Cortex A8 processor.Ubislate 7Cx has a RAM of 512 MB and internal memory capacity is 2GB which seems satisfactory for school students as well as entry level tablet users.This Ubislate tablet supports the connectivity via 2G Quad Band EDGE.The ports included in the device include microSD and USB.There is no camera in 7Cx model.

There are two other interesting offering like UbiSlate 3G7 (Rs 6,999) and UbiSlate 9Ci(4,999) as well.These models include the camera.UbiSlate 3G7 has 2MP primary camera and VGA front camera while UbiSlate 9Ci has Front VGA camera.UbiSlate 3G7 has 7 inch display , with connectivity options in the form of UMTS,WIFI and bluetooth and UbiSlate 9Ci has 9 inch display supporting WIFI connectivity.

UbiSlate 3G7 and UbiSlate 9Ci both have 4GB of internal memory but installed OS versions are different.While the former has Android 4.0.4 version the later has Android 4.1 version.The processor in 3G7 is Cortex 1.2Ghz (A8) while in 9Ci it is 1Ghz A9 cortex processor.

The other specification are same for these tablets .In August 2013 , Datawind had released the upgraded Ubislate 7Cz with lucrative features like 8 GB of internal memory , Android 4.1 and 1GB of RAM
