Samsung, the largest manufacturer of smartphones, has launched its mid-range tablet line up with a new Galaxy Tab A Plus. The Galaxy Tab A Plus comes with a 9.7” display and an S Pen style, which is usually reserved for the company high-end products. However, this slate was quietly listed on Samsung‘s Belgium-France website. In fact, there is not any official press release about this product.
According to it, the Galaxy Tab A sports a 9.7” LCD of 1024X760 pixel resolution and houses a Ziilabs ZMS-08 chipset together with 1.2 GHZ dual-core CPU and 2GB of RAM. The Galaxy Tab A offers 16 GB of onboard storage expandable by up to 128 GB via a micro SD card based on, Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Further, it supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/h and has 2 MP front camera although it does not have a cellular version. The company has packed a 6,000 mAh battery in 7.5 mm slate. The Galaxy Tab A is available in two colours- sandy white and sandy black and its costs $372, according to some online retailers.
