Korean handset manufacturer Samsung has launched three highly-awaited smartphones in its Galaxy A series- the Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7. These metal-clad handsets will be available in China by mid-December, but, nonetheless, the company has not revealed the pricing of the smartphones, nor did release the expected date of arrival of the handsets in other markets. The trio are dual-SIM based and run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS.
So far as Specification, Features and Storages are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy A7 sports a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED full HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by a 1.6 GHz octa-core processor coupled with 3 GB of RAM. In addition, it has 16 GB of inbuilt storage, which can be further expanded up to 128 GB with the help of a microSD card.
On the connectivity front, the device supports LTE category 6 network speeds besides, Bluetooth 4.1, ANT+, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and NFC. Furthermore, the device includes fingerprint scanner, accelerometer, proximity and geomagnetic sensors.
In terms of camera, the smartphone flaunts a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Both the cameras feature f/1.9 aperture lenses. The device is fuelled by a 3,300mAh Fast Charging battery. The dimension of the handset is 151.5×74.1×7.3 mm and weighs 172 grams.
On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy A5 features a 5.2-inch full-HD Super Amoled display and is powered by an octa-core processor aided by 2 GB of RAM. Besides, the device has a 16 GB of expandable storage.
On the camera front, the Samsung Galaxy A5 houses a 13-megapixel rear camera with OIS along with a 5-megapixel front-facing for taking selfie. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone includes Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 4G, GPS and NFC.
The smartphone is backed by a 2900mAh battery. The handset measures 144.8×71.0×7.3 mm and weighs 155 grams.
Whereas, the Samsung Galaxy A3 sports a 4.7-inch Super Amoled HD display and is powered by quad-core 1.5GHz processor along with 1.5 GB of RAM. Additionally, the device has 16 GB of expandable storage.
On the camera front, the Samsung Galaxy A3 houses a 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front facing camera. In terms of connectivity, it offers 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC. However, the Samsung Galaxy A3 does not have a fingerprint scanner.
The device is fuelled by a 2,300mAh battery. The dimension of the handset is 134.5×65.2×7.3mm and weighs 132 grams.
